What do we think the protocol should be when dealing with ticks? It seems that Lyme disease and alpha gal syndrome will be on the rise this year. I think wearing lighter clothing with everything tucked is a good way to avoid them. Not sure if it's a good idea to use permethrin, apparently our skin absorbs it very slowly and we have enzymes to quickly process and neutralize it. With ticks being such an issue, it might be worth it to use it topically. Staying on path and avoiding going under branches is probably a good idea. I know they fear monger about nature a lot but this may be a rare case where it is sensible to take precaution.
