Hey, I'm a Christian. I know the goat community is against religion, which they see as a means of control and enslavement. I don't think so. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, that's not the point here. I wanted to know if there are other Christians like me here on this forum, and what you think about what the Bible says about food. Muscle meat is mentioned, but I haven't seen any mention of offal. Raw meat isn't mentioned either. But it does mention vegetable oils, and even some flowers, and especially bread, as you all know. What do you think, my Christian brothers? It doesn't fit with our lifestyle on this RawPrimal site. The same applies to blood, which is called impure.
@Ice I dont like the christian mentality, they all say you’re nothing without god and you need everytime to be apologising, if god exists he would make us perfect like is said we were created in the image and likeness of God. Probably on the bible they said about raw meat but it was adulterated. This is just my opinion
-
@primalcel yeahh man this is the best argument ive heard if god would be real you would have instincts to say prayers and that.
@Liverlover
This is amongst the worst arguments I have seen.
How can we humans, limited by definition, "instinctively", understand something/someone so unlimited, omnipresent and eternal, just by being born?Let me give you some food for thought:
When radiowaves where created, a man made invention, we the inventors/creators of our own creation could yet not see any purpose or use in it. If I am not wrong we did not fully grasp it, mathematicians had predicted radiowaves before they became useful, and up until then we did not properly understand their use.
So if we could not even understand our own creations, or the things we dicovered, what makes you think we will "instinctively" understand The Creator, who is beyond this world.
Another great example is numbers. IIRC there are numbers so large we can not, literally speaking, not metaphorically, comprehend them. Yet numbers are one of the most logical and simple things growing up. 1+1=2 2+8=10 and so on, can and will get to a point beyond out understanding.
So again, how can something, which is so simple and easy to grasp as a consept, such as addition or subtraction, get to a point beyond our understanding, whilst the Holiness of God can be contained to "instinct".

@rawcular11
This just came from someone with richard ramirez a serial killer on his pfp btw, do with that what you will. Also how old are you man?God created us in a perfect place, as far as I know. The garden of Eden. Everything was great, on one condition, that we shouldnt consume that fruit, which we did. So even when God gave us perfection we still managed to walk away towards sin, which is why we need to pray and repent. Because of this God allows us to return to his perfection: heaven. By praying and repenting and fasting and helping your fellow people and so on.
Probably on the bible they said about raw meat but it was adulterated.
This is a separate discussion but long story short: No, it wasnt adulterated.

@RuskinPrimal Thank you for your reply, my brother.

@eatrawmeat xplain

@Ice also, don't ever listen to goatis. The core tennant of sataism is "do what though wilt" which is exactly what goatis promotes. He phrases it as "do whatever you want" though
@RuskinPrimal so do what? Not follow your intuition?

@Chill I didn’t do shit, neither you, it was eve’s fault. Now because of someone else we have to be fasting (starving) and claiming apologizes from something we didnt do?
Also, about the adultarated part: i dont have any proof but is said there “What contaminates is not what goes into the mouth, but what comes out of it”. If you’re here on the forum you already know how wrong this take is, why god would give us such a terrible advice? Everything that goes on our mouth CONTAMINATES US if we dont be careful.
I have read the bible 2 times (only the version with the stories, not the original one) and I really liked everything, the messages of each story and so on. You dont know how much I wanna God to be real.

@Liverlover intuition is different from simply doing whatever you want. To intuit something is to know something to be true, in my eyes truth lines up with righteousness and goodness. Doing whatever you want personally is not intuition it's laziness and selfishness

@rawcular11 I mean dawg if u see his life, can u blame Richard for doing that shit. Also he killed a lot of Jews so that’s pretty based

@RuskinPrimal goodness and rightiousness dont exist. What now?

@Liverlover I disagree with you. I simply see that line of reasoning akin to silly billy eastern mysticism

@RuskinPrimal the same thing can always be perceived as good or bad from different perspectives. I will give an example somebody kills your child and you kill them back. For you this is “righteous” while for the justice system this is “bad”. So you cant say something is objectively bad no matter what. Helping people is good but helping the enemies is bad is another one.

@Liverlover "Helping people is good but helping the enemy is bad"
You agree with me that good and evil do exist. I don't care about an enemies perspective, I'm going to do good on myself and the people in my life who deserve that good

@RuskinPrimal so do you agree good and bad are entirely subjective?

I didnt bring this up to point out whos at fault. I was responding to the point you made that why did God create us perfect; well even when all the circumstances where perceft, and only one requirement existed (dont eat the fruit), we still chose sin.
Everything that goes on our mouth CONTAMINATES US if we dont be careful.
Matthew 26:26, the verse you have in mind is talking about what foods are sinful to eat. Of course if you eat arsenic you will get poisoned, but the verse is not talking about that. The Jews had laws in place about what they could eat and not, for example pork was banned and was considered sinful. Jesus commanded us that our actions and words (what comes out of our mouth), is what makes someone sinful, not the food they consume like pork (what goes into the mouth)

If you are interested in learning more dm me and I will answer your questions.

@RuskinPrimal so do you agree good and bad are entirely subjective?
@Liverlover if the fact that it's a varied world and difference of opinion in good and evil exists leads you to believe that good vs evil is entirely subjective, you are in support or cultural relativism. Which I disagree with as a whole. For example, I don't think that child sacrifice is good and I don't care that the Aztecs thought it was good. Different opinions on good and evil, for sure. But that is irrelevant to me.
I also don't care that you think that morality is subjective, your opinion on it is also irrelevant to me much the same way that the aztecs opinion on child sacrifice is irrelevant. No amount of debate or logical thinking will convince me of that. To you it doesn't exist because it's varied and changes based on broad cultural and other factors to me it does exist because I intuit what I know to be true and thus I can create ideas that lead to reality about what would be good for me and good for my people as a whole. The idea that because a foreigner has a different opinion on what is good and evil makes my opinion on good and evil irrelevant or makes the whole thing somehow a non existent fantasy is again a silly billy eastern mysticism way of thinking
